Fiber – Art!
December 2011 Hannah Streefkerk and I decided to change ‘home’ of our education ‘Méér dan textiel……..’. We move september ’12 to ‘het Paleis’, Groningen. A perfect, dynamic and professional spot. (see www.hetpaleisgroningen.nl) . There is a lot of interest….. See our website: www.meerdantextiel.nl
The students in the 2nd year of ‘Méér dan……’ had already very good presentations: they did a very good job in designing works of art for public space.

weaving is arts and crafts in one and….. weaving is art! April 28 2010 was an important day for the students of the 2-year education: ‘ Méér dan Textiel…’. The opening of an exposition with results of the first year: #1 Work in Progress. A very nice exposition (Hannah and I are proud!) and a good speech by Hein Braaksma. Some comments: good level, interesting work, so much difference.
